Artifact Description:
Using Thinglink, I was able to create an interactive picture of the unit circle. This interactive will help students learn and review the unit circle on their own. It has four explanations and two videos. One of the videos teaches the left hand trick to help students learn how to remember the unit circle. The other video is a fun song about the unit circle. This fits into component 1A because it demonstrates knowledge of content and demonstrates pedagogy in providing different ways for students to learn the same topic.
Artifact Reflection:
Thinglink is an easy tool to use but it is restrictive when it is not paid for. There are many more options once you have paid for the account. I am glad that I was able to include instructions and videos, but I would have also liked to include pictures of my own. If I were to create this again, I would pay for the account so that I could have more options and make it easier for students to use. This ties into Education Psychology by helping students who have different learning needs and provides at home reinforcement of material.
