Elements
1 - Quality of Question and Prompts
Questions must provoke thinking and must be asked in different ways to enhance thinking. Teachers must use Bloom's taxonomy to create different types of questions. |
2 - Discussion Techniques
Students must be respectful and contribute to discussions in a way that encourages the conversation and gives everyone a chance to participate. |
3 - Student Participation
All students must participate in class discussions, including students who do not talk as much. |
