Artifact Description:
Using Smore, I was able to create a digital flyer. I created this newsletter by picking a template that was already in place then adjusting it to what I needed. My virtual co-op had given me information, so I just found aesthetically appealing ways to incorporate the information. To send this flyer to parents and students, I can send it in an email to all parents and students so it is easy for them to see it. Hopefully the flyer sparks interest in the students and the parents get involved to help fund the program. This artifact fits into component 4C because it can be used to communicate with parents and students to help involve them in the learning at school.
Artifact Reflection:
This flyer was easy to make but there was not much flexibility. If I were to do this again, I would make it more of a newsletter than a flyer because it would be interesting to see how different it would look when it has a different purpose. This ties into educational psychology because Bronfenbrenner reminds teachers to look at the whole picture of a student's life and that includes involving their families.
