Component 3D: Using Assessment in Instruction
What is it?
Assessment is important to use to ensure that students are learning during a lesson. Assessments can be different than a test and can happen during the lesson, not necessarily at the end.
Why is it important?
Component 3D is important because teachers must be able to monitor students' understanding during a lesson. Teachers must also give positive and negative feedback to students.
